The Avenue Hotel Bed & Breakfast is a nine guest room bed & breakfast in the heart of Manitou Springs at the foot of Pikes Peak. It is a blend of Victorian and Arts & Crafts architecture, tastefully married. Our enviable location makes for easy walking to restaurants, galleries and boutique shopping. We graciously welcome you into beautifully restored guest rooms with private baths. Each room is unique in its decor and views providing tranquil comfort in King and Queen Size beds covered in luxurious micro-fiber sheets. Locally crafted organic shampoo, body wash and conditioners are provided. When considering an adult getaway, relaxing can look different for everyone. It can be adventurous; like, taking a trip up to the top of Pikes Peak, hiking the Manitou Incline, Adventures Outwest Zipline, or any activity you don't typically get to do. While an onsite massage and a soak in the hot tub with quiet time suits others. A full gourmet breakfast is served to leisurely enjoy. In our cozy knotty pine spa room unwind with a Couples massage treatments that are available on site with our licensed massage therapist.
We take pride in our property and the service and hospitality we extend to our guests. Awake to award winning aromas as a scrumptious full breakfast is prepared and served each morning. We make homemade cookies daily and snacks that are available throughout the day. All the rooms have FREE WIFI, HDTV/DVD player, movie collection, AC, robes, hairdryers, custom made shampoo and conditioners. The outdoor hot tub is on the back patio for your enjoyment in the evening and the terraced garden and BBQ are perfect for summer parties and larger family groups.

How long have you been in business?
The Avenue Hotel, Manitou Springs first B&B, has operated since 1984. Gwenn David and Randy Hodges, the current owners and Innkeepers, have owned the B&B since 2008. They have worked at recently renovated the property.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a historic Bed and Breakfast. Our Victorian B&B was built in 1886. We combine modern amenities with antique charm providing friendly hospitality,& relaxing environment with concierge services, and massage packages, for romantic getaways, anniversary, honeymoons,and girls nights. Great place for a family reunions.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Love of cooking, serving people and entertaining have always been a source of enjoyment.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Homemade breakfast from scratch every morning. Providing a warm welcoming home atmosphere to serve my guests. Updated uncluttered decor in a historic building.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one B&B privately owned and operated with no plans to expand. We pride ourselves in individual service to our guests.
